Kristin Wilson

Kristin Wilson is the newest attorney at Brown, Bradshaw & Moffat LLP. Kristin graduated as a William H. Leary Scholar from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in May 2019, where she also received a graduate certificate in Criminal Law.

Prior to coming to Brown, Bradshaw & Moffat, Kristin worked as a Law Clerk and clinical intern at the Salt Lake Legal Defender Association. There she was able to work on state criminal cases ranging from minor traffic infractions to capital murder. She also participated in the CJA Third Year Mentor program, that allowed her to work on and assist attorneys on court-appointed federal criminal cases.

During her time in law school, Kristin served as an Articles Editor for the Utah Law Review; the President and Treasurer of the Utah Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers at the University of Utah; and worked at the law school as a Faust Library Research Fellow.

Kristin has also worked with the Rocky Mountain Innocence Center (“RMIC”). RMIC is a non-profit organization that works to correct and prevent wrongful convictions in Utah, Wyoming, and Nevada. Due to her work at RMIC, Kristin was awarded the Lionel Frankel Public Interest Fellowship in the summer of 2017 and the Spurgeon Public Interest Fellowship in the summer of 2018.

Prior to law school Kristin attended Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She graduated Cum Lude in 2013, with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
